Taj of India

Taj Mahal means “crown palace”. And is in fact the most beautiful tomb in the world.Shahjahan the mughal emperor built this marble glory in the memory of his mistress ‘MUMTAZ MAHAL’, who died in the year 1630.the construction of the monument, started in the year 1613 and took almost 22 years to be complete. Taj Mahal was the result of hard results of twenty thousand workers who worked day and night to complete this project.’Ustad Ahmed Lahori’ was the chief architecture of this project. The dome in the white marble is set against the plain across the river and it is this background that changes the view of this marble structure. The Taj is pinkish in the morning, milky in the evening and golden when the moon shines.
The “SYMBOL OF ETERNAL LOVE”, the Taj Mahal has a life of its own that leaps out of the marble glory.
