Shekhawati town

Shekhawati towns are famous for beautifully designed, carved and painted havelis.Most of these havelis was constructed in 18^th century. Havelis are the mansions with beautiful paintings and most of them have wooden gates. Some havelis have four large courtyards. Most of these Havelis are privately owned and are not open for public. When you enter the inner courtyard, you are supposed to remove your shoes.
