Mandawa

Mandawa fort was founded by NAWAL SINGH, a descendent of Rao Sheikh in the 18^th century. This fort has now been converted into a heritage hotel. This fort is famous for the beautiful paintings on the archway. The havelies around the fort are built in typical rajasthani style. There is a hanuman Prasad goeinka haveli which has a huge gate that open up to the haveli.The haveli is painted with the images of horses and the elephants. The rooms of this fort are nicely decorated with the mirror work and the beautiful paintings. This fort is famous all over India for its royal Rajasthani look.
